Your Daily Photograph, an international auction service, is featuring 'Face Time' on its site. It's an image of a natural ice formation, a seldom-seen, whimsical artifact, discovered near the Tanana River. YDP caters to private and public collectors, is curated by experts, and regularly offers images by the likes of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Andreas Gursky, Richard Misrach, Andre Kertesz, and Edward Burtynsky. It is a delight to be featured in such company.

Rarefied Light: The Alaska Photographic Center hosts the leading photo competition in Alaska. Held annually, the 2018 event drew more than 600 entires from 91 photographers. My image 'Road Trip' was selected Best of Show by juror Arthur Meyerson. The photo was made in Fairbanks during the spring ice festival. 'Road Trip' was selected by The Photo Review for its 2018 Competition issue. The journal began publication in 1976. According to editor Stephen Perloff, the photograph was among 1,900 entries by over 420 photographers. Less than 4 percent of submissions were accepted.
